Know More Money Chat with Journalist and Consumer Advocate Ellen Roseman

Update: Read what Ellen Roseman had to say about education savings, RESPs, and the Canada Learning Bond, at the Know More Money chat.

During Education Savings Week, join guest financial expert Ellen Roseman, Toronto Star columnist, consumer advocate, author, and instructor who will answer your questions about education savings, November 23, 2016, 1:00-2:00 PM EST.

Families eligible for the Canada Learning Bond are raising children on incomes of less than $50,000. Their knowledge of, and experience with financial programs and products might be limited. They may be missing out on opportunities that could benefit their families or be vulnerable to products that could cost them. As part of our commitment to help families to become more informed financial consumers, SmartSAVER created an online series called Know More Money!

Know More Money brings Canada’s best financial thinking to a financially challenged audience.  These sessions are easy to join and offer tips on saving, spending and investing that are relevant to consumers with no money to spare. Participants can engage with our featured experts using Twitter to have their questions answered.

Participating experts have included award-winning entrepreneur and author Teresa Cascioli from M is for Money! And Pat Foran, CTV broadcaster and consumer advocate.
